The Setting: A 15-Bedroom Beachfront Villa on Marbella’s Golden Mile
For this corporate retreat, we selected one of Marbella’s most iconic beachfront estates: a 15-bedroom private villa directly facing the Mediterranean, with expansive gardens, multiple outdoor entertaining areas, direct promenade access, wellness facilities, and several breakout spaces suitable for both relaxation and informal business discussions.
The villa functioned not only as accommodation, but as the central hospitality environment for the entire programme. One of the major advantages of private villas for executive retreats is the ability to fully control the atmosphere, schedule, privacy, and guest experience without the limitations of a traditional hotel setting.
Day One: Arrivals, Welcome Reception & Beachfront Dinner
Guests arrived throughout the afternoon from London and Zurich, flying both commercially and via private jet. Our team coordinated all transfers directly from both the public arrivals terminal and VIP private aviation terminal at Málaga Airport to the villa.
Upon arrival, guests checked into sea-view suites and guest rooms distributed across the estate while our concierge team managed luggage coordination, room allocations, and hospitality preparations throughout the property.
The first evening was designed to ease the group into the experience in a relaxed and highly social environment.
As sunset approached, we organised a welcome cocktail reception overlooking the Mediterranean, complete with premium open bar service, live cooking stations, canapés, and lounge-style entertainment across the beachfront terraces.
Dinner followed within the villa grounds with a premium Mediterranean BBQ experience curated privately for the group, followed by live flamenco entertainment and informal drinks late into the evening.
Rather than creating a rigid corporate atmosphere, the objective was to encourage natural interaction between departments, leadership teams, and spouses from the very beginning of the retreat.
Day Two: Wellness, Team Building & Marbella Experiences
The second day balanced wellness activities, team-building experiences, and curated leisure programming across Marbella.
Breakfast was served across several outdoor terraces before guests participated in optional yoga sessions, fitness activities, massage treatments, and beach walks along Marbella’s Golden Mile promenade directly in front of the villa.
Later in the morning, we coordinated a tailored team-building session adapted to the profile of the group. The goal was not simply entertainment, but creating interaction in a far more relaxed setting than a traditional corporate environment would normally allow.
Throughout the day, guests also enjoyed wellness-focused experiences organised within the villa itself, including detox smoothie stations, massage therapists, and private relaxation areas across the gardens and pool spaces.
For lunch, we organised private transportation to one of Marbella’s beachfront venues for a more social Mediterranean dining experience outside the estate before guests returned to the villa for downtime and leisure activities.
In the evening, the group reconvened at the villa for a second curated dinner experience with Mediterranean cuisine, cocktails, music, and open-air dining across the gardens and terraces.
Day Three: Curated Experiences & Executive Connection
By the third day, the dynamic of the retreat had evolved naturally. Formal structures softened considerably, and conversations between guests became far more relaxed and organic.
This day focused more heavily on curated experiences and executive hospitality.
Throughout the day, our team coordinated wellness treatments, yoga sessions, poolside hospitality, and tailored leisure experiences around the villa while allowing guests complete flexibility in how they used their time.
Lunch was organised directly at the villa with a more informal tapas and paella concept served outdoors across the beachfront gardens.
In the evening, we arranged private transfers into Marbella for a fine dining experience at Puente Romano, followed by cocktails and after-dinner drinks within the resort’s nightlife and lounge areas.
This balance between privacy inside the villa and selective access to Marbella’s hospitality scene is one of the reasons many companies choose Marbella for executive retreats and incentive travel programmes.
Day Four: Departures
On the final morning, breakfast was served before staggered airport transfers began throughout the day back to Málaga Airport and private aviation terminals.
While the programme included wellness, gastronomy, entertainment, and luxury hospitality, the core objective of the retreat remained relationship-building, team cohesion, and rewarding senior leadership teams in a setting designed around privacy, comfort, and shared experiences.
